Rockford River Days: A Weekend of Fun and Celebration

Friday, August 11th

• Junk FM - Live under the big tent at 7 pm. FREE music and dancing!
• Rockford Lions Shredded Chicken Sandwiches - 5 pm at the Park Building
• Jump City Inflatables - 5 pm to 10 pm (all ages) - Buy your wristbands and tickets at the Park
• Game Truck - 6 pm to 9 pm - Video gamers dream! Appropriate games available for all ages. $3 for 15 minutes in the game truck. Located at the Park
• Beer Garden - 5 pm to 11 pm
• Food Trucks and Stands - 5 pm to 11 pm

Saturday, August 12th (Morning Events)

• Pancake Breakfast [Park Building] - 8:00 am until gone - sponsored and served by Our Father's Lutheran Church
• Rumble on the River/Outdoor Wrestling (Pre-K to 8th Grade) - Online Pre-Registration required - raaasports.com
• Volleyball Tournament [Riverside Volleyball Courts] - 9:00 am - Co-ed 6's and Co-ed 4's
• River Days Marketplace - 9 am to 6 pm - Located between parking lots
• Cribbage Tournament [Park Building] - 9:30 am to 12 pm (registration @ 9 am)
• Texas Hold 'em Tournament [Park Building] - 9:30 am (registration @ 9 am) - First 80 to sign up. Must be 18 or older, ID required. Cash prizes!
• Three Rivers Parks-On-The-Go Van - 10 am to 6 pm - Disc golf, trivia, and more!
• Annandale Laser Tag - 12 pm to 9 pm (all ages) - Ice Skating rink
• Jump City Inflatables - 8:30 am to 10 pm (all ages) - Buy your wristbands and tickets at the Park
• Corn Hole Bag Toss - 11 am registration and begins at 12 pm - Pre-Register online here
• Beer Tent - 10 am to Midnight
• Food Booths - 10 am to Midnight

Saturday, August 12th (Continued)

• Zuhrah Shrine Horseback Rides - 12 pm to 2 pm (Ice Rink) - Free-will donation to Shrine Hospital Patient Transportation Fund
• Bingo - 2 pm to 4 pm under the big tent. Presented by Rockford Area Historical Society
• Duck Drop - 3:15 pm - Buy your ducks in the Park before 3:00 pm
• Lions Pork Chop Dinner - 4 pm until they're gone [Park Building]
• Tent Dance - Jonah & the Whales - 8 pm to Midnight under the big tent - FREE music and dancing!
• Fireworks Show - About 10 pm down at the park
• Beer Garden & Food Booths - 10 am to Midnight

Sunday, August 13th

• Ecumenical Church Service - 10 am by the Park Building. Presented by United Presbyterian Church. All are welcome!
• River Days Marketplace - 10 am to 4 pm - Located between parking lots
• Rockford Lions Shredded Beef Sandwiches - 11 am until gone [Park Building]
• Beer Garden & Food Booths - 11 am to 5 pm - Lots of great options after the Parade!
• Annandale Laser Tag - 12 pm to 5 pm (all ages) - Ice Skating rink
• Grand Parade - 12 pm - starts at WestRock Mall, ends at the Park (map below) - Grand Marshal - Morrie Melchert
• The Schell’s Hobo Band - 2 pm to 3 pm under the big tent in the Park
• Boy Scout Mobile Race - 2 pm at Ash and Maple. Registration at 1:30 pm. Jennifer at 763-528-0022
• Handmade Quilt Raffle - Tickets available at The Stork House, Rockford City Hall Office, BANKWEST, and in Riverside Park during the weekend
